These Instagram videos were created to promote virtual tours at Bonura Hospitality wedding venues during the Covid-19 crisis. Like most businesses, our leads plummeted once the government announced its stay-at-home order.
On average, a wedding takes 14 – 18 months to plan, and one of the initial steps couples must take is to book their reception venue. With businesses closed, our team needed to find a way to use technology to answer the needs of wedding couples and their families.
I was tasked with finding a way to reach out to concerned, newly engaged (and perhaps slightly overwhelmed) couples, sending the message that we are still here, and still committed and able to plan your dream wedding. At the time, most businesses were sharing somber videos and posts that seemed to consume all social feeds. I thought it was important to break away from that trend and create something upbeat and topical in a format that could be updated quickly without the need to film new content.
The campaign headline became “You Don’t Have to Leave Your Home to Visit With Us,” and it lead prospective clients to landing pages with 360 Degree tours we had been fortunate to photograph prior to the quarantine.
