Company Culture

Creating a company culture is vital for employee morale and retention. It also plays a strong role in expanding our core values and brand. Along with management, I developed a number of print and digital materials to bring the concept to life.

I first began with creating our company manifesto.

Behind the Scenes

Our manifesto is bold, using positive language and bright inclusive colors. It encompasses all of our venues, from weddings and events to restaurants and more. I then took each line and phrase and created an eye catching and cost effective design that we placed throughout our venues. Using our BHG brand colors I printed oversized boards that were placed in our kitchens and behind the scenes to reinforce who we are as a company and why we do what we do.

Employee Appreciation Day

Following our manifesto, I created an animated message for social media thanking our employees for everything they do within the company. We shared this in early March on National Employee Appreciation Day along with posted up banners around our venues.

Next came the swag!

I designed a number of BHG t-shirt designs based off our manifesto to keep our branding consistent.

Next we wanted to focus our attention to new hires. To welcome them to the team we would give them a swag bag filled with BHG goodies including our tshirts, branded wine keys, reusable water mugs and a welcome card.

Onboarding

To help the hiring managers and Human Resources, I created a welcome presentation for on-boarding with all vital information that they needed.

I then designed a company welcome page for each venue. This page included quick links to important documents, ADP logins, Email Signature Tool, and an Employee of the Month nomination page!
